Mikheil Sarjveladze is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Cologne. As a Konrad-Adenauer-scholarship holder he works on the thesis „The German Foreign Policy towards the States of the South Caucasus“.
At different times Mikheil graduated from the Faculty of German Language and Literature of the Tbilisi State University, Georgia, and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Giessen, Germany. In 2012 he earned his master degree from the University of Jena, Germany, in the framework of the programme “The History of the 20th Century”.
Mikheil gained work experience during managing different educational programmes at the Ilia University, Georgia, University of Jena and University of Cologne, Germany. Mikheil also worked at the Bundestag – the Federal Parliament of the German Federation (International Internship Programme – IPS) and at the South Caucasus Representation Office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation in Tbilisi. In 2015 Mikheil was selected as a Young Ambassador of Georgia to Germany.
