
GIP participated in a public discussion – “10 Years of the Eastern Partnership – What Can We Do Better?” – in Berlin
On September 26, 2019 the Embassy of Georgia in the Federal Republic of Germany hosted a public discussion – “10 Years of the Eastern Partnership – What Can We Do Better?”.
Invited by the organizers – South Caucasus office of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung – to moderate the panel discussion, Prof. Kornely Kakachia, director of the Georgian Institute of Politics (GIP), together with the participants – Mrs. Tamar Khulordava (Chair of the Committee for European Integration, Georgian Parliament), Mr. Matern von Marschall (MdB, Committee on European Union Affairs), Dr. Benedikt Zanker (Federal Foreign Office) and Ms. Liana Fix (Program Director, International Politics, Körber Foundation), reviewed the past 10 years of the Eastern Partnership and discussed current concepts and ideas for the future of the Eastern Partnership.
This event was part of the series of public discussions: “Georgia in Focus” aim at promoting discussions on Georgia-related foreign, domestic, security and economic policy topics.
