Georgian Institute of Politics’ held a public lecture on the challenges and obstacles to a stronger parliament.
Alexander Scrivener – GIP research fellow and Michael Cecire – Black Sea and Eurasia regional analyst and an associate scholar at the Foreign Policy Research Institute – looked into the impediments to the development of a stronger Parliament and discussed what measures could be taken to improve the effectiveness and centrality of Parliament to Georgia’s political system.
