Deema Homsi

Internship – June/2022 – July/2022

Deema is a recent graduate from Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service, where she received her MA in Security Studies. She completed her BA in Political Science at the University of Arizona, and is a 2019 Fulbright Scholar. Deema focuses her research on transatlantic security, NATO, and Russian influence across the globe. She has worked in several U.S. government offices including the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Institute of Peace. After her internship she hopes to continue her journey in the public sector and take the knowledge she gains in Georgia to strengthen U.S.-Georgian understanding and cooperation in Washington.
