Celine Cojocar

Celine Cojocar is a second-year MA in European Affairs at Sciences Po in Paris. Prior to that she obtained her double-Bachelor in Political and Social Sciences from Sciences Po Paris and the Freie Universität in Berlin, while gaining professional experience in Romania, France, and Germany.

Her research focuses on the transformation and Europeanization processes of the former communist states in Europe as well as gender equality and minority rights in the region. More concretely, she is interested in the ways that policymaking can contribute to the socio-economic and political advancement of post-communist societies. Her BA thesis investigated the efficiency of tools by the EU Commission to counteract anti-gender movements in their Member States.
