On 1 April, at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the Georgian Institute of Politics (GIP), in cooperation with the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs, organized the seminar titled “Creeping Finlandization or Protecting National Interests? Georgia’s Strategic Dilemmas Amid Ukrainian Crisis”.
During the one-hour seminar, Policy analysts and Senior Researchers from GIP and the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs discussed Georgia’s current strategic dilemmas. Prof. Kornely Kakachia and Mr. Levan Kakhishvili presented their policy briefs on Georgia’s foreign policy in regard to the ongoing war in Ukraine and consequent geopolitical changes. The seminar continued in Q&A mode after the discussion conducted by the participating speakers. Dr. Helge Blakkisrud, a Senior Research Fellow at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs, moderated the event.
