The project aims at identifying the major gaps in Mobility Partnership in relation to three target EaP states and assessing the effectiveness of governmental action in this direction, ensuring visibility of the main benefits and procedures of Visa Liberalization in Georgia and Moldova and the perspectives of enforcement of Visa free regime in Armenia and facilitating Visa Liberalization dialogue between EU and three EaP states by promoting experience sharing.
The project benefits from support through the EaP Civil Society Forum Re-granting Scheme (FSTP) and is funded by the European Union as part of its support to civil society in the region. Within its Re-granting Scheme, the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) supports projects of its members that contribute to achieving the mission and objectives of the Forum. The project is also co-financed by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
Project objectives:
- Identifying the major gaps in Mobility Partnership in relation to three target EaP states and assessing the effectiveness of governmental action in this direction;
- Ensuring visibility of the main benefits and procedures of Visa Liberalization in Georgia and Moldova and the perspectives of enforcement of Visa free regime in Armenia.
- Facilitating Visa Liberalization dialogue between EU and three EaP states by promoting experience sharing.
Activities:
- Collecting data, analyzing findings and developing one policy brief based on the research findings in each country.
- Holding one presentation of the preliminary findings for public officials, politicians, experts’ community, CSOs and diplomatic corps in each country, in order to give them an opportunity to critically reflect and provide further suggestions.
- GIP and IPRE developing joint recommendations for Armenia in support of intensifying and simplifying Visa Liberalization dialogue between EU and Armenia. Holding public presentation in Armenia to present developed recommendations.
