The Georgian Institute of Politics and the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs in cooperation with Faculty of Social and Political science of TSU would like to invite prospective PhD students to apply for the GEOPATH scholarship scheme for the academic year of 2019-2022.
The goal of this fellowship is to provide financial and research support to a young Georgian scholar wishing to undertake PhD studies at Faculty of Social and Political Science at Tbilisi State University.
Applications are welcomed from first-year PhD students in the field of political science or neighboring disciplines, working on a topic relevant to the broad theme of Georgia’s strategic path in the Russia-West rivalry. Read more here.
Scholarship terms:
The scholarship includes full 3-year stipend (before 2022), 4,800 NOK stipend per month, which also includes tuition fee.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must be full-time students who are enrolled in a PHD program at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University during the 2019-2020 academic year.

Curriculum vitae with links to publications;
University admissions letter;
A two-page research proposal.
