On March 15, 2023, The Romanian Diplomatic Institute (IDR) hosted the first part of the workshop “#EUSecureConnect EaP – Black Sea Central Asia: protecting connectivity infrastructure and improving cyber security”, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The workshop was held in a hybrid format and brought together experts and officials from Central and Eastern Europe, as well as from the Central Asia area. Director of the Georgian Institute of Politics, Prof. Kornely Kakachia as an invited speaker, participated in the event. The workshop lasted for three days, and its main theme was the regional (Black Sea – Central Asia) approach to secure interconnectivity and infrastructure resilience within the Eastern Partnership.
