The Interparty Council kicked off the year 2024 by conducting its first quarterly meeting on March 6th, facilitated by the Georgian Institute of Politics. The Council comprises two committees, one for Youth Politicians and one for Women Politicians. Young leaders and female politicians from diverse political backgrounds attended the meeting to discuss the 2024 action plan.
At the start of the meeting, newly inducted council members introduced themselves and shared their perspectives with their colleagues. After reviewing recent accomplishments, the committees focused on young and female politicians, discussed new strategies, and emphasized the importance of coordinating essential resources. Together, council members discussed the challenges they faced in their political pursuits and engaged in constructive dialogue to devise solutions within the Council’s framework.
Committees of youth and women politicians of the Interparty Council were formed within the framework of the “Strengthening Sustainable Political Culture Among Georgian Political Parties” project, with the support of the Embassy of Switzerland in Georgia.
